New Patients
1. Referral and records received
Your journey begins when we receive a referral from your primary care provider or specialist. To help us prepare for your visit, we ask that recent lab results, imaging studies, and prior treatment notes be included.
If you have any questions about what is needed, please contact us.
2. Schedule appointment and fill out paperwork
Once we have your records, our scheduling team will contact you to set up your first appointment.
To save time, you can download and complete new-patient paperwork in advance.
3. First appointment
At your first visit, you will meet with one of our rheumatologists or Advanced Practice Provider. We will review your history, examine your joints, and may order additional lab tests or an ultrasound to confirm your diagnosis and create a personalized care plan.
*Additional services are listed below.
4. Second visit
Your second appointment usually happens a few weeks later. During this visit, your provider will review test results, confirm your diagnosis, and discuss treatment options.
5. Treatment plan
Your treatment plan is built together with your care team. At Idaho Arthritis Center, we use a team-based model that includes physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and infusion specialists.
This ensures that every aspect of your care is coordinated, from medication management to lab monitoring to ongoing support. Our goal is to help you manage your condition effectively while maintaining the best possible quality of life.
Additional Services
When new patients come in, we will review your history, examine your joints, and may order additional lab tests or an ultrasound to confirm your diagnosis and create a personalized care plan.
